You can use the /fd and /sd switches to tell Winboard to start them
in their own directories. For example the following switches:
/fcp "c:/crafty/crafty.exe xboard ponder=off"
/fd c:/crafty
/scp c:/comet/comet-wb.exe
/sd c:/comet
allow Comet and Crafty to stay in their own directories and still
have proper access to their opening books, etc.

Hmm. I can't find the .ics file in my Comet directory, nor anything
in the readme file on how to create one--I've been wondering how to
turn off Comet's permanent brain... I can do it interactively with
an Alt-P but can't figure out how to do it with Winboard. Help.
