there is an adjustment in your bios called, multiplier.
there is another adjustment in your bios called fsb.
multiplier x fsb = mhz.
11 x 136 = 1496 mhz (1500).
in other words as you increase either of these two settings, your mhz will
increase also. but there is a lot more to this. this only works up to a certain
value, or combination of these two. most need an increase in voltage to be
stable (larger current draw with increase mhz). all this means more energy, thus
more heat at the processor. thus more cooling required. thus more money.
but like gian said, from your questions, it is obvious you are not overclocked
unless someone else did it for you.
why do you ask, are you getting errors, blue screen of death, crashes, lock ups,
all of these go with pushing your mhz to the limit. if you are getting any of
these just start backing down the multiplier and/or the fsb setting in the bios.
