Mine compiles and runs fine under AIX, likely most others.

small, but based on the number of people on FICS who use linux I would
guess that there is a market.

"port"? My main development platform is linux.
I might consider a port to windows, but only if MS gave me a free
copy of windows 2000, and the latest MS C compiler.

It is a very good thing for us, rather hard on AMD and Intel.

No, the Alpha line is dead.

No, but about as applicable as in the Windows world.

3d and sound for chess are a waste of time in my opinion.
