problem was bandwidth to USA in this case from wanadoo.
it was 500 bytes/second
at most. that's wanadoo thing. not even that you use 33.6kbit.

Note i've got a 56k6 modem here which is sitting idle because i'm adsl
nowadays. i'll bring it with me next time :)
