Unlike you, I tend to think of self expression and speech as behaviours too, with just as serious consequences (maybe more so) than physical actions. When I was a child I was disciplined for my behaviour too. But my parents considered lying and offending others as unacceptable behaviour. Do you feel this was a limit on my free expression? - Don
