Again, large opening books are common. Chessbase opening books tend to be about 500 megs in size complete. Mind you, Crafty's opening book code produces a much smaller and compact one then a CTG from Chessbase. Its all in your options you choose with it, but you will have to ask Bob, since I for the life of me couldn't remember the options if my life depended on it.
