I've used 818MB with all the Chessbase engines.  I've used 899MB (total) with
Crafty.  And I've used 818MB with Shredder 5.  I've never had a problem.

From what I understand 818MB is the MAX in the Chessbase GUI.  Not sure about
the others though.
