Hmmm!! Cool. :-) Sounds like what happened when Fritz 6 first came out, though
then the controversy was on the engine's strength or lack of compared to its
predecessor. Do you think the difference will be as acute as F6a compared to the
box version of F6? One last question, if you know and can answer: will it be
released before or after the upcoming battle of the titans against Kramnik? This
will undoubtedly lend itself to further speculation on why F7 was rushed out,
when the GUI was still supposedly buggy (don't have it myself), and these
significant improvements of the engine under development.
