A press conference has revealed more details about the Kasparov vs. Kramnik Botvinnik Memorial in December. There will be three parts: four classical games on Dec. 1 – 5; six rapid chess games (30 min. for all the moves) on Dec 7 + 8; and ten five-minute blitz games on Dec. 9. The winner with the most overall points takes 60% of the prize fund of $500,000 – $250K for the classic games, $200K for the rapid and $50K for the blitz.
