If you are a regular employee, someone will probably answer you. If you are an a-, v- etc., then you will have to know someone. If you find a group alias, then likely *someone* from the group will know the answer and respond unless they have been given instructions to keep it quiet. Sometimes, a phone call is better. You might also ask around and fine someone who is friends with someone in the games group and find out that way. If you let them know that you would be interested in working on the project, then they will understand why you are so keen on it and be more willing to divulge information, I think.
