right. but this discussion will not change anything to the main problem you know
as good as i do.

"and I'm just as able as you to figure out
that weird things happen at the events"

what you call weird is not weird. its part of the plan.
the participants are part of the plan. the idea is as follows:
the participants of the icca pay.
the board of the icca gets the free flights in the big hotels with luxury.
the participants of the championship do play in a room with no windows.
where they have to fall from the chairs because the floor is very very
slippery.

in the evenings the board of the icca has big alcohol orgies.
of course the families of the board of the icca is with the guys. otherwise
the big orgys would not make much sense.
there are they. sitting in a pub. outside of paris, paderborn, maastricht.
singing and shouting loud "hello" to the world. how nice to be one of us.
the next day there is nothing to drink. there is no internet connection.
there is no sponsor. the people have to bring their own machines with them.
in the round before the final round you see strange guys coming in dark clothes
talking with the winning programmers. you see $ in the eyes of these dark
people. they make contracts. in the final round they sit at the table of the
world champion program.
in the rest of the days you see a dictator onto a wall, frederic with his
camera, the eierbaron, or other narcistic persons making pictures alike:
me and famous programmer X, me between famous programmer Y.
you will see a few unknown programmers. they sleep in youth hotels. or camping
places. they get a visiting card by friedel, for a new edition of "young
talents".
you see ossi weiner - with new hair color and and extremely young and blond new
girl friend. you will see 0.00 on the fritz screen, in almost any game, and
nobody asks why this score. you will hear jaap van den herik adjudicating long
games in the nights. and you will meat frans morsch at the bar in the evenings
because fritz lost again to gandalf.
you will see bruce moreland with a headset to better listen the 200 watt power
sound of his program when it had moved, you will see christophe with a tiger
cappy, a tiger mousepad and there will be some smoke of eds cigarette next to
him. or out of the room they cook out the next game.
follow the smoke.
just 2 weeks before the event, there will be an update of the web site of the
icca event, saying that the event will - in opposite to emails and other
publications, not take place in maastricht again and again, because they have no
money, but in saddam husseins new bunker, 200 meter under earth, and that the
toilettes are out of gold. jews are not allowed to participate this time, sorry,
but despite this, all others participate with great energy. fritz is winning the
title and you see bruce moreland on a web cam in the bunker, in front of the
tournament hall, with his son, his wife and his new short trousers.
on his t-shirt there is a microsoft advertising about the new XP operating
system.
tony marsland always sleeps between the rounds , the orgy of the last day was
too impressive. and david levy brings another of his daughters with him.
chris whittington had the 2nd fight with a guy from belgium who said something
about the "cheap piecesets" and the weak opening cstal played. next day the gzy
from belgium is away. cock de gorter has cooked out a new famous gambit-opening
for the king. gerd isenbergs program could become champion in winning famous
opening gambit lines against famous opponents. and fritz has still a score of
0.00. could be deep tablebase access in the opening-stage, the search depth has
increased to 54 plies now. the program is doing 100.000.000.000 nodes per
second. it needed 3 days to bring the new chessbase machine from fujitsu-siemens
to the event. 8 men had to carry it to the stage, and 3 nuclear power stations
bring the energy to make it run.
there will be ananse and his nice daughter following everything.
vincent will make some of his famous comments.

what an event. the same procedure than every year.
wow !
