I think both linux and mac X have more people using it than dos. Also what about tomorrow and the next year. Both kernels are growing by leaps and bounds. I don't think that in a year from now even windows will be able to say they have a better os. I also think that alot of people are just getting tired of MS. since XP came out. Now I use both operating system dual boot on same mashine win98se and debian linux and have found that I can do everything I wish to do w/ comp. with linux and so have decided that in light of XP. I will not be buying any other version of windows I see no point anymore. I am sure I will sadly miss CA., Chesstiger,Rebel 9 (yes I still play w/ it). But I will not miss all the crashing, fixing this and disk check that and every other year upgrading to new windows (I have payed for 3.1,95,98se). I think the benifits out way my losses. sign, Eriq
