I have played some more games. 45mins per game. 25 played. Chess Tiger 14.0 on a PII 333, 48meg hash, Tiger.ctg Endgame turbo, in Tiger.gui Nimzo 2000 on an AMD1200. N2000.gui 128mb hash. It's own book. Chess Tiger - Nimzo 2000 9-16 CT14 +3 -10 =12 N2000 +10 +3 =12 Chess Tiger 14 was on a machine nearly 5 times slower...... I then changed to my PIII 733, left Nimzo on the 1200 and repeated the 25 games. Chess Tiger - Nimzo 16½-8½ CT14 +13 -5 =7 N2000 +5 -13 =7 I have also played Tiger on the slow machine, against Yace 0.99.56, and WcraftyK7-1812. I have to sort these out. I have not even looked at the created database? If anyone wants the games, please email me. The slow machine has been returned to its owner. I might be able to get an even slower machine? I could see how Fritz or Junior does with such a handicap! Chris Taylor
