I also think 45/10 is better... it makes it more likely the next round will
start on time.

As for disconnections, the only disconnection I am aware of from CCT3 was mine;
I was trying to use xboard to watch other games while monsoon was playing and
got it into some sort of crazy state. I was forced to kill it and reconnect...
which I did immediately. This was during the first round game with LambChop. I
felt really bad about the whole incident and apologized to Pete. But I didn't
feel bad enough about it to resign...

What rule would you suggest about disconnection. Because of net problems I
don't think that disconnection == forfeit rule is really feasible. I would be
inclined to agree that disconnection with the failure to reconnect within a
reasonable amount of time == forfeit may be ok.

As far as having to post logfiles, I think its a somewhat silly idea. I mean, a
novice programmer could easily take Crafty and change the logfile format.. then
say it was his engine. This logfile thing will not help us catch anyone using
an engine they did not write. That said, I'm willing to send logfiles if this
idea is agreed upon.

P.S. Lesson learned: don't fool around with xboard and try to watch other games
in the middle of a tournament!

P.P.S. When/if logfiles are posted I bet that says at least 5 of us stole
Frank's cool end-of-the-game-score-graph idea!  Mine's called
DumpPGNAndMakeCoolGraph().
