I think the logfile idea is so that one could analyze a program's output after
the game, compare the pv to open source progs, etc.  The format isn't as
important as the pv.

So I would support the logfile requirement (that is, kibitzing the pv and score
during the game, as well as producing a complete logfile for each game).  Might
make for some interesting post-tournament analysis at CCC.
