I have now blocked counter.fide.com which appears at the bottom of messages and lists here. Added a new line "0.0.0.0 counter.fide.com" to my HOSTS file. That does it. It's a nuisance, slows down page loading, and appears on quite a few different chess sites. I also suspect it of being spyware. Anyway, I won't see it anymore! :o) WP
