The games played by Fritz 7 001 and No MMx in my rating list were all at 40/40 and knowing they are a little weaker at slower controls the results there don't surprise me. This current version "a" 002 ;-) I write that I see it at -5.56 against Fritz 6 "c" ;-) and I'm not sure whether it will be able to overcome the results produced by 001 and No MMX. At least on my PC's. Since I'm also now using Athlon 1200 I would assume my results will be similar to the SSDF's although theirs are naturally at tournament times. I have heard nothing of either Hiarcs 8 or Shredder 6. I did see Hiarcs 8 play in the ICC tournament earlier this year I think and I did see a post at CSS about a Shredder 6 being tested, though don't recall the posters name. It would seem as nothing has been written about the release of either that they might not make the SSDF lists till March or April, which should give Fritz 7 "a" 002 at least a few months on top assuming that's the version they'll test.
