I cannot say which engine is stronger. But as far as playing style is concerned, the two very much differ. CT14 = Karpov style / GT2 = Tal style. I have furthermore noticed that programs that beat GT2 are loosing vs CT14. If you ask Franz Wiesenecker, he will of course say that GT2 [with settings to style aggressive] is the engine with the better results. For analysis purposes I however have more confidence in CT14.
