There is absolutely no ambiguity here because in the PGN/SAN standard you
should always give the full destination square of a pawn move, so it
should be dxe4.

There is a possible ambiguity in the following position:
[D]4k3/8/8/2pP4/3P4/8/8/4K3 w - c6

One should think that dxc5 is ambigous here, but the PGN/SAN standard states
that the en passant capture of the c5 pawn should be given as dxc6 !
