I can't tell for sure if it is a problem with this match, but that has been known for a long time that the matches are played with the four Turbo-Cds from Chessbase and some programs handle this wright and some don't. I haven't seen this problem in about 200 games with the Tigers but Paul has seen it in several games. The main reason that the Tigers (eventually) miss the first place is the missing knowledge, that rook and bishop and rook and knight vs rook can't win in most endgames. I have seen the Tigers incorrectly exchange down to these endgames in several (in fact surprisingigly often) cases. Note that the above problem is correctly handled by several engines in example Crafty. It is always possible for the programmers to recommend the settings if they for example don't want us to use the tbs or recommend other settings. Hopefully before the matches and not afterwards.
