A Palm m100 is not that expensive. I really believe that a device like that is
so useful that buying one per year is not a waste of money.
People change their PC every 2-3 years, change their mobile phone every 2 years,
so I don't see why Palms are supposed to last forever.
Technoloy is not something you buy once for all. It's like a subscription. You
know that you are going to spend a little something of your income for it every
year.
If you wait for the Palms or the PocketPCs to be "more powerful", you are going
to wait forever, because each year there is the promise that next year they are
going to be much better. That's exactly the same for PCs and mobile phones.
On the other hand you can buy a Palm right now, and be happy with its features
and its strength at chess and keep it several years... It all depends on your
own chess level.
