Hi Alvaro,

there are many purposes for using chessprograms. I think in the specific field
you are interested in there haven't been big advances recently.

If you already have one of the programs that can load several engines ( like
Fritz 5.32, Genius 6.5, Rebel Tiger 11 or Chessmaster8000) you should give the
free engines you can download a try.

Especially Yace is a very nice engine with very good analysis abilities at long
time controls. Also Crafty is good when the position isn't too much about
tactics.

IMHO of course.
