Subject: Nice testposition from an ICC game Gromit-Bringer ( Tactics)

Author: Peter Berger

Golem - Bringer1.9ß11
[D]r5k1/4R1pp/2b2q2/2Bp4/p1p5/P4P2/1P1Q2PP/6K1 w - - 0 1 bm h4

The account Golem is running a current version of Gromit on an Athlon 1400.

In this position Gromit found the nice and surprising shot h4 - the only road to
a winning advantage for white.

I suspect every program will find this sooner or later - it's a little about
time.

Gromit played it in a 60(1o) game ( the cct-4 time control).

How long does it take your (favourite) program to find the move?

Cheers,
pete
