Subject: Strength of Novag Diamond

Hello, does anyone know the approximate elo strength of the Novag Diamond at
slower time controls, under tournament conditions?  I've just began playing one
and I'm not bad (1800-2000)but it beats me 9 out of 10 games, even with it's
limited opening book.  Any other experience out there?
