Generally, I would say yes, since many amateur programs use Winboard to
automatically play for extended periods of time (separate from tournaments).
The real answer depends on how "automatically".

I will likely be away the first CCT4 tournament weekend (USA quasi holiday
weekend).  I plan to set my formula to something like:
unrated & time=60 & inc=10 & computer
to hopefully restrict games to only tournament rounds.

Of course, I also plan to dial in remotely.  You can send ICC commands and/or
your engine commands via Winboard remotely too.

The other new request is that engines automatically kibitz search info during
the game to indicate fully automatic status.
