The Badtrans worm is also still making its rounds. I got some more yesterday and today. It is easy to recognize because its subject is "Re:" and the email is about 40 kb in size. The bad thing is that it will activate if you just try to read the message. The attachment opens automatically!? However it is not very destructive of your system. In contrast the new Goner worm is destructive. It may delete a lot of files from your hard drive. It is also easy to recognize. It comes with the subject "Hi" and the email is roughly 50 kb in size. (I'm estimating the email size because I haven't received this one, yet.) Apparently it does not activate automatically if you just try to read the message. You must open the attachment (not a good idea!). (realtime virus info) http://members.tripod.com/jbob2000/tripodwebsite/virusinfo.htm WP
