Another question might be, why do they only check the players upon entering the
playing hall?  If one distrusts the players, wouldn't one worry that they might
have accomplices equipped with Pocket Fritz or, worse, cellphones (connected to
remote helpers with much stronger computers) waiting in the bathrooms?
