Subject: Tiger 15=More Money?

My facts may be off a little so please forgive. Fritz6 and Junior 6 were around
for 3 years or so before the 7's were released. But well before the 7's
appeared, chessbase released free engine updates (the 6a's)that offered
noticable strength improvements (as well as bug fixes). I guess my question is
why is Chess Tiger 14 being replaced so quickly with CT15? CT 14 has only been
out for a year or so and no free engine update was ever released. Is it just
about the money??
