If you want to play in the open tournament you can do it. If you win there you are computer world champion. If you have a micro program, you can play in the micro championship, which is held more often. Mine has played in both, always on a micro. If it had won the micro event, I wouldn't feel that I had any right to challenge Fritz for anything, since min was in that event as well. I'm a little confused about what you are proposing. There is no "mainframe" event, only an "open" event. bruce
