Maybe you had a weakness in that part.

In my case I know what happened. I stumbled and twisted my foot and ankle.
Normally in this case, that's your ankle that suffers the most. But mine
apparently was strong enough. The result is that all the effort went to the
foot, and broke a bone very close to the ankle (the bone at the base of the 5th
toe).

I heard the noise of a wood stick breaking. "Clac"! That was the bone. :(

But it's only a small part of bone's head that is broken, nothing serious.
