Hi Steve: If it is a sort of consolation, I believe -and now i am talking as the sociologuist I was- that the suemania of USA is that kind of things that are asociated with a high level of economic and cultural advancement, even if in the tail of it a lot of lawyers get an awfull share of benefits. I can see this process happening in my own country, that has suffered in the last 10 years a so accelerated rate of rowing that we have doubel or more the national income and the cultural ans dsocial changes has been even more acute. And so suddenly we have here the same tendence of people, groups etc to sue each others. A single explanation -this is no site for otherwise, i am already afraid to be warned by the new poll of moderators- is that evolution goes hand in hand with a more strong level of cultural, sychic anbd material recsoruces from a lot of groups and interest that in more traditional siocieties tends to be crushed without a word. In a traditional society only high clases has the right to sue each others. Else: I think you have, asteve, material enough for a little book or at leats several chapters of the histoiry of this industry. And you tell it very well. Could we..? :-) Fernando
