Yes I own it.
Actually I own it a lot, because I am the author of Chess Tiger (and Chess Tiger
for Palm).
The screenshots you have seen on www.chesstiger.com are going to be updated
soon. A version of Chess Tiger for Palm with color and style customization is
going to be released next week, and it looks even better than what you have
seen.

The Palms and PalmOS compatibles are cheaper than the PocketPCs. You were
talking about a dedicated unit, so I thought price was an issue for you.
The lower priced PocketPCs are maybe outdated models (PocketPC 2002 has been
released recently, so they are trying to get rid of the older models).
If you finally opt for a PocketPC handheld, you have the choice between Fritz
for PocketPC (which is actually the Shredder program, not Fritz), ChessGenius
for PocketPC (www.chessgenius.com) or ChessPartner for PocketPC
(www.lokasoft.com). I would advice ChessGenius if you asked me.
But I would advice you to buy a Palm actually. A color one like the Palm m505 or
the Hanspring Prism. Good price, good battery autonomy, industry-leading OS for
handhelds, and a very large choice of add-on applications (like Chess Tiger).
