I have a review of both on my website: www.chessreviews.com What you chose is largely a matter of what you value most. If strength is your main concern than go with the PocketPC. The processor is much faster in these units. However, if cost is an issue for you, then go for one of the Palm or Handspring units. As for which one has more of a future, I believe that question is largely irrelevant. Like most hardware, it is obsolete the day that you get it. The key question is "what can I run today?" vs. "what might I be able to run tomorrow?". At some point in the future, I will put up a comparison of these two platforms. Bob
