Frank Fidelity sold out to Mephisto around 1988. Mephisto filed for the equivalent of bankruptcy in about 1991. Saitek bought out Mephisto at about that time and closed down Fidelity. They also took over from us as the U.S. importer of Mephisto product. About 2 or 3 years ago Saitek made a decision to stop importing Mephisto into the U.S. market. I believe they were trying to concentrate on the mass market. Steve (ICD/Your Move Chess & Games)
