Fidelity sold out to Mephisto around 1988. Mephisto filed for
the equivalent of bankruptcy in about 1991. Saitek bought out
Mephisto at about that time and closed down Fidelity. They
also took over from us as the U.S. importer of Mephisto product.
About 2 or 3 years ago Saitek made a decision to stop importing
Mephisto into the U.S. market. I believe they were trying to
concentrate on the mass market.
