512 megs ram. hash set at 256. some programs give percent of hash used during a game. using the above values, here is an example. the percent of hash used starts at 0%. as the program thinks the percent of hash value increases. so as the percent of hash gets to 90%, is this 90% of 256 megs? if this is 90% of 256 megs, and this 256 megs of ram is full of data analyzied by the program, then what happens to all this information after a move. these percent of hash readouts are going back to 0% after each move. my understanding is that none of the modern programs clear hash after any move, so what does this 0 value indicate. 0% of what? kburcham
