I have them all burned onto 11 CD's as well.. It took about 2 days to completely download them from Hyatts FTP, so I wasnt going to run the risk of a harddrive failure and the thought of redownloading them all. 11 CD's is the correct number though.. I believe they are as compressed as they can get.. further compressing will not reduce the size by 1+ gig.
