In reality even 30-70 rating difference doesn't mean anything, simply compare
how many rating points Gary Kasparov was higher than Kramnik and at the end we
all know who won the Championship. But as far as computer calculating power, any
little bit help to avoid getting into a bad middlegame position. Since this is
the area were GM still outsmart chess Programs, in making long term plan. We all
know that the opening and endgames stages are the computers
strong point.
