It works very well with ChessBase programs, Shredder 5 and with Rebel Tiger. I had some problems to get it to work with others but I know it is possible and I simply was not stubborn enough. I use Windows ME myself so this is no issue. I bought it at Rebel. It is very nice and comfortable to play on it against the programs. It is a perfect luxury chessboard to use for enjoyable games against your friends. Also it is very expensive. It really is a luxury thing to have IMHO. I haven't used it enough myself to really think I got enough for my money but that's my fault. The only drawback I know is that when you have connected it to your computer the cables are a little annoying and it needs a lot of space in your room. Regards, pete
