I suppose that if somebody wanted to be dishonest, even posting game scores
would not prove that the posted tournament results were true and complete.  The
person could have a tournament with 100 games and publish only the 50 that suit
him/her, claiming those 50 represented the entire tournament.  That way he/she
could create nearly any tournament result desired.

I guess at some point you have to trust the people who post here.
