I echo all of Peter Berger's comments. I also use my board for playing on ICC
using the Blitzin interface and the Woodin plugin. As one of the Internet
reviews mentions, it is great to be able to play against someone over the
internet as though they were in the room with you. The moves are spoken, so you
can concentrate on the board, which is far less tiring than staring at a VDU for
long periods. The only slight drawback (which I hope DGT will solve one day
with one of their clocks) is the need to consult the computer screen
occasionally to check clock times - obviously no good for lightning chess. I
resolved the cable problem that Peter Berger mentions by having the board beside
the computer on a wide table - all the spaghetti goes down the back out of
sight.

Kind regards, Alan.
