I am a previous owner of the Sapphire II. If your rating is 1600+ and you have some positional knowledge like Hiarcs 7.32 then you would lose only 25% of the games that you play with the S2. That is my experience which is why I no longer have the Sapphire II!? I hope that this info will help you in making a selection in purchasing a delicated chess computer.
