Subject: UCI Protocol Dead??

I was trying to find the UCI protocol with a view to making my engine compliant.
 However it would seem that it is no longer available via Millennium and their
website is now 'Under Construction'.  Now that Stefan Mayer-Kahlen is in the
ChessBase stable does this mean that the UCI protocol is effectively dead?  It
would have been nice if the upcoming version of Shredder 6 supported UCI in the
Fritz style GUI but from what I have read I doubt it.  What is ChessBase's
official line on UCI?

PS does anyone know where I can get a copy of the protocol?
