This is axactly why I refuse to buy any program thet requires the
CD to be installed in order to operate. My only problem is that
there is no way to know this until you have purchased the program
when it is too late.

Years ago there was a lot of discussion regarding copy protection and
the (faulty) reasoning supporting it. It turned out that vendors that
did not use copy protection, for various reasons, outperformed those
that did used it.
