I run Peter's interesting 50 position suite with 10 minutes/position because
my hardware is quite slow. Results:
Fritz 7 38
Tiger 14 37 (solves position 17!)
Shredder5.32 32
Hmm. Shredder is considered as the best endgame player available - bad selection
of positions?
Fritz7 is really improved in endgame play. In my private test suites I found:
suite 1 (easy) suite 2 (very difficult)
Fritz5.32 27/34 7/30
Fritz6a 31 11
Fritz7 33 14
