It is clear that shredder is slower under chessbase espacially in the first seconds. In the last 91 seconds shreddder "ate" 7435 Knodes and this speed is similiar to the speed under the shredder interface but in the first 52 seconds shredder could see underchessbase interface only 98 knodes. I think that the problem is that the interface needs to get used to shredder(my experience says that it also often needs to get used to other engines including Deep Fritz when I give them 64 Mbytes hash. I also see this problem often when I try to give chessbase engines big hash tables. It is usually relevant only to the first move so the right way to test the speed of shreeder under the chessbase interface is first to give it the opening position and only after some minutes of analysis when shredder get used to the chessbase interface to give it the position that you posted. Here is a typical example with Deep Fritz(64 mbytes hash) when I did not give it to get used to the position New position 5rk1/5ppp/p1Q1p3/1R6/q7/4b1P1/P2RPP1P/6K1 w - - 0 1 Analysis by Deep Fritz: 1.fxe3-- = (0.13) Depth: 1/3 00:00:00 1.fxe3-- axb5 µ (-0.72) Depth: 1/3 00:00:00 1.Rd7! ³ (-0.62) Depth: 1/6 00:00:00 1.Rd3! ³ (-0.59) Depth: 1/6 00:00:00 1.Rd3! axb5 ³ (-0.34) Depth: 1/6 00:00:00 1.Rd3-- ³ (-0.66) Depth: 2/6 00:00:00 1.Rd3-- Bxf2+ 2.Kxf2 µ (-1.37) Depth: 2/6 00:00:00 1.Rd7! µ (-1.34) Depth: 2/6 00:00:00 1.Rd7!
