<<< a cigar for everyone>>>

nothing like a new upgrade.
i also just finished my upgrade. it is very enjoyable, with all this
speed. but it would not be any fun without chess.

when i was doing the research for my parts, i decided to install the same
coolers that Gamepc is putting on their dual amd workstation.
so i ordered two thermalright sk-6 coolers, for my dual 1.53 mp.
since these guys have already done all their homework on what was needed
for these processors, i just used the fans that came with the coolers.
these were the delta, 7000 rpm, 38 cfm. (loud)

i also have a game pc server tower, the addtronics 7896a full tower.
i ordered all the extra fans with this case.
it has side case fans two fans in rear, and one large fan in the front of the
case. all are filtered, and i maintain a positive pressure in the case for dust
control.
i also used the 450 watt enermax power supply, two more fans on ps.
i completely sealed my case, and i flow all air in front and out rear.

during assembly, i installed the enermax dual temperature sensing device.
one for each processor. i mounted the sensor on the end of the cable right next
to the metal square of the amd processor. so i get a more true temp reading.
must be very careful that it doesnt hold cooler off of metal center.
now i can monitor both processor temps from the front of the case.

when i first started this new system mine was also loud.
so i ordered four more fans.
i removed the 7000 rpm 38 cfm deltas, and installed two 4200 rpm 26 cfm
ys tech processor cooling fans.
it is a little better. i have also dissconnected some of my case fans.
mine was overkill on cooling.
but the whole time i was changing this air flow, i could monitor my processor
temps. they now run at 38 to 42 c or about 100 f. with no issues.
just remeber when changing your fans, that you know what the temps are.
also you will have to find out which fans you have, so you will know
what the next size smaller is, rpm? cfm? and dBa?
you will have to make sure your fan hardware is compatible with your cooler.
and a lot of these fans are out of balance, so when you start your system
you will hear or feel a vibration in your case. just have to keep trying fans
until no vibration. if so, i think you will be taking a chance with the mb and
cpu vibrating, also effects the cooling surfaces.
i have two more smaller sunon fans i will test later. having too much fun to
work on again.
