Hi all,
here are the first two games from my newest tournament (40/120, dual MP-1800+, 1
GB).
Shredder 6 (native GUI) won impressively despite using its small default hash
(which has now been corrected :).
CSTal played with Thorsten Czubs new style, and although 24...Nfd6?? was
terrible, it held on to the draw. Maybe I adjudicated a little early, but KRBKRP
didn't seem winnable with the tablebases I currently have (about 60% of the full
5-man set).
Next matchup: Gambit Tiger 1.0 - Chessmaster 8000.
Note for the bug-freaks: The Fritz 7 GUI won't let me put more than the 26
characters of "Chess System Tal 2.03 2001" in the White/Black field, and under
XP it wouldn't even allow that.
Also, copying the two games from CBH to PGN caused the PGN header to be
identical for both matches (also in XP).
