Has anyone done any experiments with book learning? I have implemented a book learning system, and naturally I am curious to see if it works :-) So I've kicked off a selfplay match to see what happens. In theory I think the learning version should gradually gain superiority over the non-learning version, but I have no idea how long this will take. Depends on the size and variation of the opening book no doubt. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone else has done this sort of experiment. It would be interesting to compare results... cheers, Peter
