It is an splendid move, the only one to win. I do not say that after looking a program, but just after taking a personal look at the position for a minute or so. If there is not sacrifice, black never can get more than a draw. The sacrifice get out the knight and let the black King to come to a crucial position, kill the pawns and move yours. Fernando
