I think that it may be a good idea to build a test suite based on games when the target is simply to avoid tactical mistakes in the games. It is possible to take the ssdf games for this purpose. The program can analyze games at 1 minute per move and when it finds a big jump in the score to the right direction of at least a pawn it can suspect that the last move was a tactical mistake. I say "suspect" because it cannot be sure about it because it is possible that the program did not analyze deep enough. It can analyze the relevant positions again for more time in order to find a score after the suggested move and only if it finds that the score after the suggested move is bigger than the score after the move that was played by more than 1 pawn it can include the position in the test suite when the target is to find a move that is not a tactical mistake. It should later analyze every legal moves in the test positions in order to find the tactical mistakes that programs need to avoid(if people want positions when the program need to find moves then it is possible to choose only the positions when all the moves except one are tactical misytakes). There may be positions that are not correct because programs make mistake but I guess that most of the positions are going to be correct test positions. Uri
